This photoblog documents the thoughts of Jonathan SC Yang – about living in a city, what it does to him, and how he responds to his surroundings. Jonathan resides in the sunny, and alternately rainy, tropical island of Singapore.

“Nobody knows exactly what he’s capable of until he tries.” ―Nabil N. Jamal

There’s nobody at this outdoor cafe in Amsterdam, but somebody is going to try it and some time later today, especially with spring in the air.

While it is good say, “Heck it, I’m going to give this a try”, it is also wise to first count the cost of doing something to make sure it can get done.

Which is what the bible reminds us in Luke 14:28 — “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?”
